TRUE TRACK REAR SUSPENSION INSTALATION INSTRUCTIONS
REAR SUSPENSION INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS.
STEP 1) REMOVE OLD SUSPENSION
STEP 2) CUT BUMP STOP OFF CAST IRON SHOCK TOWER IF EQUIPED
STEP 3) CLEARENCE BOTTOM OF SHOCK BOSS BY FLATTENING THE BOTTOMOF IT. THIS WILL REQUIRE REMOVING ABOUT AN 1/8 OFF THE BOTTOM OF THE SHOCK TOWER TO ALLOW THE FOX SHOCK TO CLEAR. TRIAL FIT FOX SHOCK UNTIL ENOUGH MATERIAL HAS BEEN REMOVED.
YOU SHOULD BE LEFT WITH SOMETHING THAT LOOKS LIKE THE PICTURE TO THE LEFT.
STEP 1) REMOVE OLD SUSPENSION
STEP 2) CUT BUMP STOP OFF CAST IRON SHOCK TOWER IF EQUIPED
STEP 3) CLEARENCE BOTTOM OF SHOCK BOSS BY FLATTENING THE BOTTOMOF IT. THIS WILL REQUIRE REMOVING ABOUT AN 1/8 OFF THE BOTTOM OF THE SHOCK TOWER TO ALLOW THE FOX SHOCK TO CLEAR. TRIAL FIT FOX SHOCK UNTIL ENOUGH MATERIAL HAS BEEN REMOVED.
YOU SHOULD BE LEFT WITH SOMETHING THAT LOOKS LIKE THE PICTURE TO THE LEFT.
STEP 4) IF USING THE WELD ON SWAY BAR BRACKETS. PLACE THEM ON THE SWAY BAR AND CENTER SWAY BAR LEFT TO RIGHT UNDER TORSION HOUSING.
STEP 5) ROTATE THE MOUNTS FORWARD ON THE TORSION HOUSING UNTIL THE REAR MOST EDGE OF THE MOUNT IS STRAIGT UP AND DOWN TO THE GROUND.
STEP 6) TACH WELD THE MOUNTS IN PLACE AND MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS STRAIGHT. NOW REMOVE THE SWAY BAR AND BRACKETS AND FINISH WELD THE SWAY BAR MOUNTS IN PLACE.
STEP 5) ROTATE THE MOUNTS FORWARD ON THE TORSION HOUSING UNTIL THE REAR MOST EDGE OF THE MOUNT IS STRAIGT UP AND DOWN TO THE GROUND.
STEP 6) TACH WELD THE MOUNTS IN PLACE AND MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS STRAIGHT. NOW REMOVE THE SWAY BAR AND BRACKETS AND FINISH WELD THE SWAY BAR MOUNTS IN PLACE.
STEP 7) INSTALL THE MENDEOLA CAMBER ADJUSTERS ONTO THE END OF THE TORSION HOUSING.
STEP 8) INSTALL THE REAR ARMS AND REAR SHOCKS
STEP 9) REINSTALL THE REAR SWAY BAR, BRACKETS, BUSHINGS, AND LINKS
STEP 10) INSTALL STIFFY KIT (REFER TO IRS STIFFY INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS)
STEP 8) INSTALL THE REAR ARMS AND REAR SHOCKS
STEP 9) REINSTALL THE REAR SWAY BAR, BRACKETS, BUSHINGS, AND LINKS
STEP 10) INSTALL STIFFY KIT (REFER TO IRS STIFFY INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS)
